EDM’s focus, since its inception in 1982, has been on inspection, assessment and upgrading feasibility study services. Specifically, EDM has developed innovative reliability-centered management methodology which encompasses detailed field inspections, determination of loading criteria, assessment of structural capabilities and maintenance requirements.

The INTEC/EDM team approach enables the preservation of utility line reliability throughout the desired service life and assists utilities in making responsible recommendations and decisions affecting management of millions of dollars of overhead line capital assets.
